Chip And Scott Gauthier, John Flach Cop DMNT Penn Can Features
Susquehanna, PA - The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour got it's 2020 season rolling this past Friday here at Penn Can Speedway.
The 15 lap Nostalgia and Modified combined feature would see brothers Chip and Scott Gauthier battle for the race lead for the majority of the race. Behind them George Palmer would have his hands full with Steve Longo eventually taking the position for third overall.
Over in the brand new Unlimited class Mike Houghtaling would make it interesting for a few laps but veteran racer John Flach would assume command by the second lap and power on to the win. The pair would be followed to the line by Dwayne Hiller.
Pit notes....a lot of first time faces in the series, Alan McDonald, Flach, Hiller, Turner and Houghtaling...Mike & Jay Garris both unable to start the features with mechanical issues...Steve Longo taking his legal Modified up into the Unlimited class for the double dip.

Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour Welcomes Back CARtoons Magazine For 2019 Season
Thunder Bay, Ont - CARtoons magazine is back! And for the second straight year will be teaming with the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour.
Originally established in 1959, CARtoons magazine features automotive humor and hot rod artwork. The book saw a revival in 2016 under current CEO Marc Methot after it's original run ended in 1991.
Many of the original artists have returned including George Trosley, John Deaton and Jeff Slemons as well as a host of newcomers like Ben Mitchell, Chuck Kelley, Larry Williams and Mike Yapps.

Newark, NY - The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour is thrilled to welcome SuperGen Products for the upcoming 2019 season.
With it's retail location first established in 2012 in Newark, NY, SuperGen has since added a second retail outlet in Azusa, CA. SuperGen strives to make the highest quality products having over 40 years of innovation and design experience.

Swagger Factory Apparel Joins DMNT For 2019
AMSTERDAM, NY – With the 2019 racing season just around the corner, the Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour is proud to announce that they have joined into a partnership with Swagger Factory Apparel of Amsterdam, N.Y.
This partnership will provide an added bonus to DMNT competitors following the tour in 2019. Race team owner/ driver Mike Jackson of Amsterdam, N.Y., who also is president of Swagger Factory Apparel has joined forces with DMNT to present added contingency incentives for licensed DMNT competitors, who compete in two/thirds of the 2019 DMNT races. When asked about the decision to join in with DMNT, Jackson stated “Swagger Factory Apparel is a racer specific brand, that has been outfitting drivers throughout the Northeast and beyond for years” Jackson continued, “and we’re looking forward to having some fun with DMNT while preserving the history and nostalgia of racing from the early years and at the same time also receiving some great marketing exposure from a vintage tour that covers a large part of the Northeast.”
All licensed DMNT drivers competing in two/thirds of the DMNT events during the 2019 racing season and proudly displaying a Swagger Factory Apparel decal on their car, will be eligible for a random draw at the 2019 DMNT awards banquet.

The Dirt Modified Nostalgia Tour is the premier vintage group of the Northeast and is scheduled to compete in seventeen race events at fourteen different dirt tracks, providing seventeen point events for it’s drivers throughout the Northeast in 2019. A large area of the state of New York is where many races will take place, but the state of Pennsylvania and the province of Ontario, Canada will also see the DMNT style of racing.
